It is the most advanced and effective three dimensional imaging method that can be employed for many dental treatments. Especially regarding dental implant treatment it is is extremely valuable and necessary in order for a treatment plan to be accurately and safely formulated. Radiation exposure is very low.
Cephalometric x-ray
It is a lateral x-ray of the skull used mainly in Orthodontics. This x-ray allows for measurement of angles and distances between anatomical landmarks in order to diagnose skeletal anomalies.
